How to play Cruel Solitaire
A compact same-suit game whose redeal preserves card order. The board above uses a deterministic shuffle, so a shared Deal ID recreates the same opening layout.
- Build tableau downward by suit, one card at a time.
- Aces begin on the foundations.
- Empty tableau spaces cannot be filled directly.
- Redeal remaining tableau cards into piles of four without shuffling.
Strategy that matters
- Create sequences that survive the next redeal.
- Advance foundations only when it changes tableau access.
- Watch the collection order before redealing.
Why this version feels different
True Solitaire keeps the playing surface in front of you. Hints describe a legal action without pretending a heuristic move guarantees a win. Undo, numbered deals, themes, card sizing, and local statistics are available without an account.
Keyboard controls
Press N for a new deal, D for the daily deal, H for a hint, Z to undo, Y to redo, R to restart, and S for settings.
