How to play FreeCell
An open-information strategy game where every card is visible from the start. The board above uses a deterministic shuffle, so a shared Deal ID recreates the same opening layout.
- Build tableau columns downward in alternating colors.
- Use four free cells to hold one card each.
- Move Aces through Kings to the suit foundations.
- Empty tableau columns may hold any card or valid sequence.
Strategy that matters
- Keep free cells open whenever possible.
- An empty tableau column is more powerful than an empty cell.
- Release low cards before committing long sequences.
Why this version feels different
True Solitaire keeps the playing surface in front of you. Hints describe a legal action without pretending a heuristic move guarantees a win. Undo, numbered deals, themes, card sizing, and local statistics are available without an account.
Keyboard controls
