How to play Russian Solitaire
A demanding Yukon relative that builds tableau cards down by suit. The board above uses a deterministic shuffle, so a shared Deal ID recreates the same opening layout.
- Build tableau downward by suit.
- Any face-up card and the group below it may move together.
- Only Kings may enter empty columns.
- Build foundations upward by suit.
Strategy that matters
- Expose hidden cards even when the moved group becomes untidy.
- Protect access to the next lower card of each suit.
- Use empty columns only for Kings that unlock substantial progress.
Why this version feels different
True Solitaire keeps the playing surface in front of you. Hints describe a legal action without pretending a heuristic move guarantees a win. Undo, numbered deals, themes, card sizing, and local statistics are available without an account.
Keyboard controls
